PRODUCT MANAGER
 
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all wealth products development, launches, marketing communications, distribution, maintenance/review including policies, processes and systems set up.
Responsible for Remittance business- launch tactical promotions on existing areas, develop new markets to grow business proposition.
NRI- Develop NRI business through launch of new products and services catering to NRI’s . Develop policies , procedure and processes as deemed necessary in line with banks NRI Strategy
Constant and periodic consumer research, system capability development and enhancements, sales and marketing strategy development, communication delivery with a view to enhance the product competitiveness and delivery platform.
Accountable for the Profit & Loss and profitability of the wealth product portfolio as well as to manage the budget and resources based on cost-benefit expectations
Track business trends, monitor market development, conduct competitive analysis and develop counter business strategy to ensure competitiveness of wealth products
Foster and manage relationship with key business partners (fund platform provider, fund houses etc), vendors, suppliers and other third party relationships
Manage customer services when escalated and ensure corrective actions are implemented accordingly
Review and ensure all appropriate operating and internal control procedures, local regulations and guidelines relating to the business/products are in place and adhered to
Set and review service standards delivery by other support units to ensure high and efficient delivery of the service standards
Work collaboratively with others, particularly the distribution channels, to achieve shared business goals and contributes towards building a collegial teamwork environment within the organization
 
Requirements:
Degree in Business/Banking
At least 4 years direct experience in the industry
Strong Wealth Products Knowledge
Banking Knowledge
Business Development with key partners will be key to success.

Responsibilities:
General Duties
Respond to inquiries, including answering the telephone and/or telephone system for purpose of resolving problems, providing information and/or referring to appropriate personnel.
Prioritize all incoming information.
Process documents and materials for purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties (eg. emails, letters, etc)
Maintain documents, files and records (eg. Memos, minutes)
Schedule a variety of activities (eg. Conference call, meetings, appointments, etc) for the purpose of assisting in meeting staff needs and efficient utilization of office equipment and facilities.
System Support
Print daily reports
User support on small IT / equipments problems.
Maintain detailed register of the following
 
a. Software and its licenses, User ID delivery
b. Hardware, warranty and AMC, Version Control, System Rook Access
c. Anti-Virus Licenses
Register with various vendors user hardware complaints against warranty
Maintain internet and Finacle IP address record
Back up of daily finacle reports and remittance message files
Trouble shoot problems faced by users in MS Office
Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, phone systems, etc
Operate electronic mail systems and coordinate the flow of information both internally and externally
Mail checks
SWIFT
Maintain control of daily printing of SWIFT Messages
Generate daily back-up file for all SWIFT messages in Finacle
Taking monthly backup of the daily messages from Finacle.
 
Requirements:
Minimum GCE O Level (with a pass in English and Mathematics)
Minimum 3 years of working experience
Preferably in the banking industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for desktop support
Strong organizational skills with attention to details
Work with minimum supervision and act on own initiative to identify tasks to be undertaken

Branch Teller / Customer Relationship Officer
 
Responsibilities :-
Handle various types of transactions/customer applications over the counter (cash and cheque deposits, cash withdrawals, draft applications, loan payments, etc)
Attends to foreign currency customers and ensures travelers’ cheques and foreign currencies are carefully checked and scrutinized for forged notes
Receives cash and cheques for remittance overseas or to other banks, verify amount and check accuracy of remittance slips.
Register new customers and set up new accounts for them
Perform daily balancing of cash and cheques accurately
Perform GL entries and balancing
Filing and batching transaction entries
Explain, upsell and cross-sell the Bank’s products and services
Helps the team grow customer relationships by making sales referrals when appropriate
Effectively addresses customer service issues and/or escalates to appropriate person promptly
Pro-actively identifies opportunities and provides feedback to Branch Manager for improvements
Offload/back up to other areas ie. Greeters and Back end Operations
 
Requirements :-
GCE O level and above
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a bank
Experience in handling cash and over the counter banking transactions
Experience in backroom processing will be an advantage
Able to interact well with all levels of people
Able to work with a high degree of accuracy
Able to speak English and at least 1 other language ie. Chinese/Malay/Tamil
Able to work long hours (when required) and on weekends and handle high volume of transactions with minimum supervision

Market Banks Corporate products to extract more wallet share from sophisticated/Corporate clients.
Develop and setup client feedback mechanism on Banks Corporate product & services and arrange improvements.
Devise SBLC / Deposit backed structured products with  minimum credit risk  for corporate
 
Requirements :-
Degree in Financial Management/Marketing with Experience in relevant field of Corporate Finance
Minimum 10 years  experience in a sizable financial institution
Experience in Corporate Finance/Product Development and marketing of Corporate Banking Products.
Deep knowledge of Structured Products (both asset and liability) with experience in risk management and marketing of such products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of staff and management

CREDIT ANALYST
 
 
Responsibilities:
Preparation of credit applications and annual credit reviews involving in-depth analysis of customer's financial standing, industry review, business outlook, risks and opportunities
To analyse and provide advice to Relationship Managers on credit policy issues and credit structures, ensuring that the final credit proposal to be presented for approval is mutually acceptable.
Provide clear and concise risk advice detailing risks involved, highlight shortfalls (including documentation gaps) as well as compliance with previous conditions and outline recommendations.
Active participation in development of credit policies, products and processes to meet changing market competition without comprising risk
Drive, Review and streamline credit processes
Assist in preparing industry studies to improve knowledge of specific markets and industries.
Prepare management reports relating to credit approvals, excesses, extensions etc. Liaise with clients to ensure submission of audited financial statements, management accounts and all other information/ documents required.
Provide Relationship Managers with insights into clients through understanding of industry sector, client information and account plans s required.
Liaise actively with other departments such as Credit I Legal / Compliance I Finance. Maintain and exercise control over allotted portfolios.
 
REQUIREMENTS :

 

Qualification Degree preferably in Economics or Banking and Finance. Preference will be given to MBAs from reputed university.
